Additional Infomation About Product

The MaxLinear SP232AEN-L/TR is an enhanced RS-232 line driver/receiver with a maximum operating speed of 120kbps. The device is housed in a 16-pin narrow-body SOIC form factor, and offers a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It features differential inputs/outputs for improved signal integrity and noise immunity, with enhanced ESD protection to protect against even the most severe environments. Further, the SP232A features low output skew and low propagation delay for improved system performance. The device can be easily configured via its onboard EEPROM, which allows for flexible I/O voltage options, and allows for quick parameter changes such as flow control, baud rate, and data format.
