The SP3238EEY-L is a TSSOP-28 package manufactured by MaxLinear that features a high speed 5.5 V Intelligent RS-232 Transceiver as part of its SP3238E Series. It has a data rate of up to 250 kbps and its transmitter is able to adapt to a wide variety of logic voltage levels. This device features two driver outputs and one receiver input, which are designed to provide good noise immunity and a high level of ESD protection. It also has two built-in control pins, EN1 and EN2, which are used to enable the transmitter and/or receiver when logic low.
