The MaxLinear SP491EEN-L/TR is a 10 Mbps Enhanced Full Duplex RS-485 Transceiver. It is part of the SP491E Series and is in an NSOIC-14 package. It runs on 5 Volts and can work in any application requiring Half or Full Duplex asynchronous communication over a two-wire balanced line. It features Auto-TurnAround (ATA) circuit, which detects logic transitions and automatically performs direction switching without the need for external logic. Additionally, it has an adjustable Transmit and Receive Output Swing to allow for compatibility with numerous applications, such as industrial automation, energy management, and motor control.
