The XR46084ESFTR-ADJ is an AC step driver controller manufactured by MaxLinear. It is designed to control external MOSFETs to drive LED lighting loads up to 5A. It contains an integrated MOSFET driver, an intelligent gate driver, over-current protection, and energy optimization features. It has an internal power supply for MOSFETs to reduce overall system cost and simplify the design. The device includes an integrated linear regulator and PWM control circuit to provide an accurate current level and improved power efficiency. It also has built-in protective and diagnostic features such as short-circuit fault detection, over-temperature protection, open-circuit protection, and over-current protection. The XR46084ESFTR-ADJ is ideally suited for a wide range of LED lighting drivers.
