Color Coded Indicator Lighting Optimized for LED backlighting and RGBW/RGBA Color Mixing RGBW/RGBA color mixing applications, the XRP7620 can also be used as a generic Cell Phones & Handheld Devices software programmable current sink I/O expander. Generic Current Sink I/O Expander 2 Supporting an industry standard 2-wire I C serial interface, the XRP7620 provides full FEATURES independent control of each channel and can 4-Channel LED Current Sink Driver be programmed up to a current of 31.5mA in steps of 0.5mA. Uniform display brightness is Individual Channel Current Control ensured through better than 3% channel to Up to 31.5mA per channel / 0.5mA Steps channel current matching. 100mV Channel Dropout Voltage Five internal registers are provided to set 2 I C Serial Interface operational configuration and individual channel current programmation. A specific 2.7V - 5.5V Input Voltage Range shutdown mode allows the device to retain the 3% Channel Current Matching previously loaded configuration operational and current programming in order to be Register Retention in Shutdown reused upon the next enabling.
