The TH72012KDC-TU is an IC (Integrated Circuit) manufactured by Melexis. It is a high-performance, power efficient 3-phase 6- Switch Brushless DC Motor Driver with integrated Hall-effect controller. The IC features a loss of speed monitoring time window, over-acceleration detection, short-circuit protection, and current-limiting functionality which enables smooth, reliable, and efficient motor operation when used for applications such as fans, clocks, and general small motors. The IC also integrates a voltage regulator and a step-down converter allowing for reducing the system bill-of-materials (BOM).
