The 11LC040-I/MS is an 8-bit, low-voltage, CMOS serial EEPROM with a memory size of 512-bits, manufactured by Microchip. It features a low-voltage interface with up to 400kHz clock rate, and an on-chip Data Protection register to protect the contents against inadvertent write operations. This device offers a 2-wire serial interface, making it easy to interface with microcontrollers and other peripherals. It is also low-power, with an active read/write current of only 1mA and a standby current of 1.5µA. This EEPROM is compatible with various microcontroller architectures, including 8051/8052 and PICmicro®.
