The 24LC025T-I/ST is a part of the Microchip 24-Series Serial EEPROM memory. It is a 2-Kbit as a series, but this particular device is 2-Kbit (256 bytes) Serial EEPROM that is accessed via an SPI-style, 3-wire interface. The device is fabricated using Microchip’s advanced CMOS process, and it is an 8-pin SOIC package with an 8-pin Demo board available.
Features include low current write and standby modes, address-mark detect for quick write operations, write protection for upper byte and byte configurable security byte, 1 MHz read and write capability, unlimited write endurance and 100 year data retention. Other features include self-timed write cycle, 1, 2 and 4 byte page write operations, protection against latch-up and data retention of 100 years.
