25AA160-I/SN Microchip

The 25AA160-I/SN is a 16 Kbit Serial EEPROM manufactured by Microchip Technology. It is a 6-pin surface mount device with a 4 Kbit memory array organized as 128 pages. The page size of 32bytes makes it well suited for small tasks such as storing configurations and settings. The minimum write time is 5ms so it is suitable for low power applications. The device has an extended operation temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and is available in a wide voltage range of 1.8V - 5.5V. The 25AA160-I/SN supports five different read/write functions for various application requirements, namely; Read array, Write array, Read Status Register, Write Status Register and Self Timed Programming. The device is further protected by a dedicated Hardware Write Protection pin (WP) which prevent write or programming operations when activated. The 25AA160-I/SN also contains ESD protection for extended high-voltage tolerance and a built-in 2KV Hot Plugging Burst Immunity.
