Additional Infomation About Product

The 93C56AT-I/ST is a Serial EEPROM manufactured by Microchip. It is an 8-pin, small outline integrated circuit that is used to store small amounts of data securely. The 93C56AT-I/ST has a total of 128 bits of EEPROM organized as 16 bytes that can be accessed one byte at a time. It has a read/write protocol which is either SPI or I2C and runs on a voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V. It uses an extra pin that is used to reset the EEPROM to its default value if the power is cycled. The 93C56AT-I/ST is drop-in compatible with any device that uses the 93C06, 93C46 or 93C56 airwire EEPROMs and is useful for secure storage applications in automotive, identity and consumer applications.
