The 93LC46A/P is a low-voltage, low-power CMOS serial EEPROM memory IC available from Microchip. This device provides 1024 bits of organized data storage in 8 accessible pages, each containing 8-bit bytes. The 93LC46A/P is accessible over a two-wire Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) bus, allowing a microcontroller to read and write data as well as execute special functions such as write protection and write lockout. The 93LC46A/P is designed to operate over a wide voltage range of 2.7V up to 5.5V providing the flexibility of powering from either a single cell battery or from a standard power supply.
