TechnologyThe AR1021-I/SO with Microchip Technology Touch Screen Controllers Touch Sensing Controller is an integrated solution which combines a capacitive touch sensing controller and support hardware to detect finger or stylus contact on a screen. It is optimized for use in small-format LCDs and TFT displays, and is capable of support up to 24 simultaneous touch points with 4 wire and 8 wire resistive touch Screens. This device provides a high level output format and is supported by an industry-standard communications protocol. It utilizes µ[PIC]™ Technology to reduce power consumption and facilitate implementation of an optimized system. Features include configurable bezels, edge compensation, adjustable sensitivity, advanced calibration, and drift compensation with a minimal parts count and low power requirements. It is designed to simplify system integration by providing an all-in-one controller solution for touch screen applications.
