The AT24C01D-XHM-B is a 256-bit serial EEPROM memory IC manufactured by Microchip. It is used in many applications like factory automation, home and building control systems, security systems and automotive systems. The device has a page size of 8 bytes and a maximum transfer rate of 400 kHz. It is organized as 16 pages with 16 bytes of data in each page. It has an operating voltage range of 1.7V to 5.5V, a typical write endurance of 100,000 cycles and a typical data retention of 100 years. It features ±2kV ESD protection and a write protect pin which can prevent data overwriting. This device is also RoHS and Green compliant.
