D8162 is a dual-channel, high-resolution, microcontrollers from Microchip Technology. It is a member of Microchip's 8-bit EMC1701 series integrated microcontrollers, with a wide range of features designed for embedded applications. The device is available in a 52-pin, quad flat package and is capable of addressing two separate memories or addresses simultaneously. It has a 5 MHz clock, two dedicated 8-bit timer counters, and a wide range of serial and parallel communications, including a watchdog timer, up to four I/O channels, and up to 25 input/output pins. It also includes programmable pull-up resistors, in-system reprogrammable Flash memory, and an internal power-on-reset function.
