DSC8002 Series 1.8 to 3.3V Programmable Low-Power CMOS Oscillator General Description Features Frequency Range: 1 to 150MHz The DSC8002 is a programmable MEMS based Exceptional Stability over Temperature PureSilicon Oscillator. Using the DragonFly o 25 PPM, 50 PPM or TimeFlash handheld programmer, the end Operating voltage user can program the DSC8002 within seconds o 1.8 to 3.3V (nominal) to any frequency from 1 to 150MHz in o 1.65 to 3.60V (absolute max) increments of 100Hz (up to four decimal point Operating Temperature Range resolution). The nominal operational range o Industrial -40C to 85C spans from 1.8 to 3.3 Volts, without any need o Ext. Commercial -20C to 70C for additional external components, providing o Commercial 0C to 70C ease of use and flexibility in multi-voltage Low Operating and Standby Current applications. o 3mA Operating (40MHz) o 1uA Standby The DSC8002 incorporates an all silicon Ultra Miniature Footprint resonator that is extremely robust and nearly o 2.5 x 2.0 x 0.85 mm immune to stress related fractures, common to o 3.2 x 2.5 x 0.85 mm crystal based oscillators. Without sacrificing the o 5.0 x 3.2 x 0.85 mm performance and stability required of todays o 7.0 x 5.0 x 0.85 mm systems, a crystal-less design allows for a Excellent shock and Vibration higher level of reliability, making the DSC8002 Resistance ideal for rugged, industrial, and portable Lead Free, RoHS & Reach SVHC applications where stress, shock, and vibration Compliant can damage quartz crystal based systems.
