TechnologyThe ENC424J600-I/PT with Microchip Technology Ethernet ICs 10100 Base-T Stand alone Ethernet Controller is a single-chip, integrated, 10-Mbit/s Ethernet physical interface device (PHY) from Microchip Technology. It supports a range of network media including 10Base-T, 100Base-TX and 1000Base-T in both half- and full-duplex modes and the IEEE 802.3 Standard-compliant MII/RMII interfacing. It provides numerous features such as hardware-based auto-negotiation, Wake-on-LAN support, error-correcting code (ECC) and in-system-programmable for MAC address, OUI address, and pseudo-random bit-sting (PRBS). This part is well suited for applications such as connected autonomous systems, which require connectivity but cannot support the cost of a separate system processor with an Ethernet controller.
