HV508 High-Voltage Liquid Crystal Shutter Driver Features General Description Logic-selectable Output Voltage The HV508 is a 45V liquid crystal shutter driver in an 8-lead SOIC surface-mount package. It is composed of 100 nF Drive Capability two outputs that provide square waves of opposite 90 V Maximum Output Voltage P-P phases. The liquid crystal shutter is connected 25 s Response Time between the two outputs. Its equivalent load can be modeled as a minimum of 1 M resistor in parallel with Applications a maximum of 0.1 uF capacitor. Liquid Crystal Shutter The HV508 has three input supply voltagesHV , IN LV and V . The output amplitude is either LV or IN DD IN HV . A logic high on the HV input sets the output to IN EN operate from the HV supply. On the other hand, a IN logic low on the HV input sets the output to operate EN from the LV supply. The output frequency is IN determined by the logic input frequency applied to the POL input.
