MCP120/130 is a volt- MCP120 MCP120 age supervisory device designed to keep a microcon- MCP130 troller in reset until the system voltage has reached the proper level and stabilized. Both devices are available with a choice of seven different trip voltages RST 1 8 NC RST and both have open drain outputs. The MCP130 has an VDD 7 2 NC VSS 3 6 NC NC internal 5 k pullup resistor. Both devices have active VDD 5 VSS 4 NC low RESET pins. The MCP120/130 will assert the RESET signal whenever the voltage on the VDD pin is MCP120 MCP120 below the trip-point voltage.
