The SG3845M part is a non-synchronous high voltage pulse width modulation (PWM) controller manufactured by Microchip. It is suitable for isolated and non-isolated offline and DC/DC converter applications of up to 700V. The SG3845M integrates an advanced control loop and a wide array of protection features to enable various high-voltage dc/dc switching power converters. It supports both night-mode and valley current-limit applications, and provides up to 95% efficiency, low start-up current, and programmable frequency up to 500kHz.
