Total supply current Very Low Dropout Voltage is typically 50 A at full load (20 to 60 times lower than Choice of 50 mA (TC1070), 100 mA (TC1071) in bipolar regulators). and 150 mA (TC1187) Output The devices key features include ultra low-noise Power-Saving Shutdown mode operation, very low dropout voltage typically 85 mV Overcurrent and Overtemperature Protection (TC1070), 180 mV (TC1071) and 270 mV (TC1187) at Space-Saving 5-Pin SOT-23 Package full load and fast response to step changes in load. Pin Compatible with Bipolar Regulators Supply current is reduced to 0.5 A (maximum) when the shutdown input is low. The devices incorporate both overtemperature and overcurrent protection.
