Additional Infomation About Product

The Microchip USB5916/KD is a USB to Dual-channel I2C general-purpose Expansion Device. It allows a host computer to access up to two independent I2C master devices through a single USB source. The USB5916/KD is based on the Microchip USB5915 and provides the same general-purpose I2C interface, with the added bonus of two identical channels to provide twice the flexibility. The device is ideal for system expansion applications that require bidirectional I2C communication between the host and the attached I2C master device. The device is fully compliant with the USB 2.0 Standard and is compatible with most modern Operating Systems. The USB5916/KD is an all-in-one solution that offers a high level of performance and flexibility.
