The UZ8110 is a single-channel advanced timing controller (ATC) from Microchip Technology. It is an 8-bit CMOS device with a built-in 8-bit RISC processor (the Z80). It is used in the design of a wide range of consumer, industrial and automotive products, including certain automotive control systems. The UZ8110 supports a range of different timing options, including time-out, single pulse, pulse-train, frequency driving and selectable pulse widths. It also offers a number of user-programmable counters and timers, as well as 8 channels of 8-bit I/O (Input/Output) data. The device can be clocked up to 20MHz and comes with power-on push-pull self-reset and watchdog timer.
