The SMF28CA-TP with ESD Suppressors / TVS Diodes Bi-Dir 200W, 45.4V manufactured by Micro Commercial Components (MCC) is an integrated electronic component designed to provide protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD) as well as transients of hundred watts peak power. This device is designed for protecting I/O ports, USB ports, PCMCIA slots, audio jacks, and other non-critical items sensitive to transient voltage spikes. It features a low leakage current, high ESD and transient protection, and high attenuation of conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI/RFI). The bi-directional design of this device makes it suitable for protecting against both static and transient voltage conditions. It has a rated voltage rating of 45.4 VDC and a peak standoff voltage of equal or greater than 130VDC. It also has high surge capability with a maximum clamping voltage of 16 V (positive) and –16V (negative). It is constructed with molded plastic for robustness, durability, and high temperature operations.
