M5730 is a model of Microtran, a range of single-phase, motor speed controllers produced by Microtran Technologies. These controllers use pulse-width modulation (PWM) and are suitable for controlling single-phase loads with up to 4HP (3kW) ratings. The controller features user-adjustable functions, allowing users to override parameters such as start-up time, current limit, and speed. It also has two analog inputs and two digital inputs, which enable additional control options, as well as a connection for a simple control switch or potentiometer. Finally, it has optional relay outputs for basic on/off control.
