The BIG8051 Development System from MikroElektronika is an integrated development system for 8-bit microcontrollers that utilizes the 8051 instruction set. It includes a development board, an 8051 compatible microcontroller, and accompanying software. The development board is equipped with a 40-pin ZIF socket, four 8051 compatible microcontrollers, an LCD display, an LCD driver, and support for an on-board temperature sensor. The accompanying software includes a graphical integrated development environment (IDE), which supports downloading of program code and debugging, a simulation interpreter, and a C compiler. The Development System is designed to be intuitive and easy to use and can be used with a variety of development languages, including C, Assembly, and Pascal. Additionally, the Development System is compatible with a wide range of microcontroller families, making it a versatile and powerful development platform.
