Additional Infomation About Product

The M-BUS Master Click board is a transceiver based on the MC33072ADR2G device from ON Semiconductor. The Click board is intended for connecting devices together on an M-BUS power line (M-BUS bus) as part of a distributed monitoring and control system. The board is capable of both transmitting and receiving digital data over the M-BUS power line. The M-BUS Master Click is supplied with power supply voltage of 3.3/5VDC.The board includes two Click board connector headers and a 3-pin screw terminal that is used to connect the M-BUS power line to the Click board. The board also includes an opto-coupled voltage level translator VOM452, which is used to convert the logic level signals from the MC33072ADR2G device to a logic high/low voltage level that is compatible with the M-BUS power line voltage levels. Additionally, the board features UART lines, which can be used to connect a separate host controller to the MC33072ADR2G device. The UART interface is used to control the device’s transfers via ASCII commands. The board also includes a pin header with a jumper that can be used to select the supply voltage for the MC33072ADR2G device. The board has an onboard LED which is used for debugging and status communications. Additionally, it includes two LEDs which indicate the presence of voltage and the presence of data on the M-BUS power line.
