Mikromedia 5 for Tiva Shield is a development board made by MikroElektronika to complement their Tiva Shield range of products. As the name implies, this board is specifically designed to fit perfectly on top of the Tiva Shield boards. It features a wide range of onboard peripherals, including a Touchscreen LCD color display, an onboard microphone and audio amplifier, accelerometer, magnetometer and gyroscope, as well as numerous I/O ports and expansion connectors. The board also contains a host of other components, such as a USB port, Wi-Fi, microSD card slot, RTC and A/D converters. The board also contains an integrated 4GB eMMC Flash memory and a 4-axis I2C, which can be used for communication with external sensors. It is designed to be the perfect platform for rapid prototyping and development of applications for Tiva Shield products.
