The MICRF113-315 EV part of the Micrel, Inc. family is a low-cost, high-performance sub-GHz transceiver specifically designed for wireless sensor networks and other low-power wireless applications. It supports a proprietary digital Ultra Low Power Protocol for transmission of data with features such as fast wakeup, reduced power dissipation, highly reliable communications, and autonomous and multi-drop operations. The part has an integrated input/output (I/O) voltage regulator, RF amplifier, low-noise amplifier (LNA), low-loss filters and output power amplifiers with integrated MX-1 modulation technique and high linearity noise canceling circuits. The integrated RX off mode plus auto-calibration circuitry offers improved performance for battery operated applications. The MICRF113-315 EV is a complete transceiver solution incorporating 868MHz or 915MHz ISM band transmission and reception.
