The 74ALS374N is a high-speed 8-bit storage latch. It has an operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C and is capable of functioning over a wide voltage range (3-18V). The 74ALS374N has an active low enable input which, when asserted, will capture data on the data inputs and hold them until the next edge or positive clock. This allows data to be latched in edge-triggered flip-flops to be synchronized with the output data. The 74ALS374N is common in many applications such as bus-driving and decoding circuits.
