The 74HC112D is a 6-input dual edge-triggered D flip-flop with reset and preset. It is a 14-pin, 3-state logic chip manufactured by Texas Instruments. This chip has dual clock inputs and synchronous-level reset and preset inputs. It contains two separate flip-flops, each with different set of inputs and outputs. The outputs of each flip-flop can be connected together in order to latch the state of the two separate flip-flops at the same time. This chip can be used in a variety of applications such as edge-detection, frequency division, pattern recognition, or multistage shift registers. It is especially useful for low-speed applications due to the low-power consumption. The 74HC112D operates at a voltage range of 2.0-6.0 V, with a maximum operating frequency of 150 MHz.
