EV2316-D-00A 3A, 19V, Constant-On-Time Step-Down Switcher Evaluation Board DESCRIPTION FEATURES The EV2316-D-00A is used for demonstrating Wide 4V to 19V Operating Input Range the performance of MP2316, a fully-integrated, Up to 3A Output Current high efficiency, synchronous step-down switch 40A Quiescent Current mode converter with the feathered 40uA 90m /30m High Side/ Low Side R DS(ON) quiescent current. MP2316 provides up to 3A for Internal Power MOSFETs continuous output current over a wide input PWM/PFM Mode Selectable supply range with constant-on-time control for Programmable Switching Frequency fast loop response. Power Good Indicator High power efficiency over a wide load range is Cycle-by-Cycle Over Current Protection achieved by scaling down the switching Short Circuit Protection with Hiccup Mode frequency at light load to reduce the switching Thermal Shutdown related loss by constant on time control. Short Stable with Low ESR Ceramic Output circuit and thermal shutdown provides reliable, Capacitors fault-tolerant operation. Programmable Soft-Start Time Available in QFN14 (2mmx3mm)Package MP2316 is available in 2mmx3mm 14-pin QFN package.
