EV2610ER-00A 2A, 24V Input, 1.1MHz Switching Li-Ion Battery Charger EV Board The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The EV2610ER-00A is an evaluation board for Charge 1-, 2- cell Li-Ion Battery Packs the MP2610, a switching, high-performance 1~2 Wide Operating Input Range cell Li-Ion battery charger with built in internal Up to 2A Programmable Charging Current power MOSFET. 0.75% V Accuracy BATT Up to 90% Efficiency MP2610 achieves up to 2A charge current over Fixed 1.1MHz Frequency a wide input supply range. The charge current can be programmed by sensing the current Preconditioning for fully depleted batteries through an accurate sense resistor. Charging Operation Indicator Input Supply and battery fault indicator MP2610 regulates the battery voltage and Thermal Shutdown charge current using two control loops to realize Battery Temperature Monitor and Protection high accuracy CC charge and CV charge. Fault condition protection includes time out APPLICATIONS control, battery full terminated control, thermal Distributed Power Systems protection, battery temperature monitoring and Chargers for 1-Cell or 2-Cell Li-Ion Batteries protection. The board also indicates AC adapter Pre-Regulator for Linear Regulators power good and charge status indications to the Smart Phones system.
