MP2131 High Efficiency, 4 A, 5.5 V, 1.2 MHz Synchronous Step-Down Converter The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP2131 is a monolithic step-down, switch- Wide 2.7 V to 5.5 V Operating Input Range mode converter with built-in internal power Output Voltage as Low as 0.6 V MOSFETs. It achieves a 4 A continuous output 4 A Output Current current from a 2.7 V to 5.5 V input voltage with 35 m and 18 m Internal Power MOSFET excellent load and line regulation. The MP2131 Above 96% Peak Efficiency is ideal for powering portable equipment that Above 80% Light Load Efficiency run from a single cell lithium-ion (Li+) battery. Low IQ: 19 A The output voltage is regulated as low as 0.6 V. 1.2 MHz Frequency The constant-on-time (COT) control scheme 100% Duty Cycle in Dropout provides fast transient response, high light-load 0.5 ms Internal Soft-Start Time efficiency, and eases loop stabilization.
