MP2393 24V, 3A, 650kHz, Synchronous Step-Down Converter with PG, SS, in 1.6x2.1mm SOT583 Package DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP2393 is a fully integrated, high- Wide 4.2V to 24V Operating Input Range frequency, synchronous, rectified, step-down, 75m/40m Low R Internal Power DS(ON) switch-mode converter with internal power MOSFETs MOSFETs. The MP2393 offers a very compact 200A Low I Q solution that achieves 3A of continuous output High-Efficiency Synchronous Mode current with excellent load and line regulation Operation over a wide input range. The MP2393 uses Power-Save Mode (PSM) at Light Load synchronous mode operation for higher Fast Load Transient Response efficiency over the output current load range. 650kHz Switching Frequency Constant-on-time (COT) control operation Programmable Soft-Start (SS) Time provides very fast transient response, easy loop Power Good (PG) Indication design, and very tight output regulation. Over-Current Protection (OCP) and Hiccup Pre-Bias Start-Up Full protection features include short-circuit Thermal Shutdown protection (SCP), over-current protection (OCP), Available in a SOT583 (1.6mmx2.1mm) under-voltage protection (UVP), and thermal Package shutdown. The MP2393 requires a minimal number of APPLICATIONS readily available, standard, external Game Consoles components and is available in a space-saving Digital Set-Top Boxes SOT583 (1.6mmx2.1mm) package.
