MP28167 2.8V-22V Vin, 3A Iout, 4-Switch Integrated Buck-Boost Converter The Future of Analog IC Technology PRELIMINARY SPECIFICATIONS SUBJECT TO CHANGE DESCRIPTION FEATURES Wide 2.8V to 22V Operating Input-Voltage The MP28167 is a synchronous 4-switch Range integrated buck-boost converter, which is Fixed 5V Output Voltage capable of regulating the output voltage from 3A Output Current or 4A Input Current 2.8V to 22V wide input voltage range with high efficiency. 130mV Line Drop Compensation 500kHz Fixed Switching Frequency MP28167 uses constant-on-time control in buck Forced PWM Switching Mode mode and constant-off-time control in boost Four Low R Internal Buck Power DS(ON) mode, providing fast load transient response as MOSFETs well as smooth buck-boost mode transient. Adjustable Accurate CC Output-Current MP28167 provides forced PWM switching Limit with Internal Sensing FET mode, programmable output CC(Constant Output Over-Voltage Hiccup Protection Current) current limit which supports flexible Output Short Circuitry Hiccup Protection design for different applications. Over Temperature Shutdown The MP28167 also features with EN Shutdown Discharge Function OCP/OVP/UVP, and thermal shutdown Available in a QFN-16 (3mmx3mm) Package protection.
