MP6539B 100V, Three-Phase BLDC Motor Pre-Driver DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP6539B is a gate driver IC designed for Supports 100V Operation three-phase, brushless DC motor driver 120V V Maximum Voltage BST applications. The MP6539B is capable of Integrated Current-Sense Amplifier driving three half-bridges consisting of six N- Low-Power Sleep Mode for Battery- channel power MOSFETs up to 100V. Powered Applications Adjustable Dead-Time Control to Prevent The MP6539B uses a bootstrap capacitor to Shoot-Through generate a supply voltage for the high-side Thermal Shutdown and Under-Voltage MOSFET driver. An internal charge pump Lockout (UVLO) Protection maintains the high-side gate drive if the output Fault Indication Output is held high for an extended period of time. Available in Thermally Enhanced, Surface- Internal safety features include shoot-through Mounted TSSOP and QFN Packages protection, adjustable dead-time control, under- voltage lockout (UVLO), and thermal shutdown. APPLICATIONS The MP6539B is similar to the MP6539. It does Three-Phase, Brushless DC Motors and not implement auto bootstrap charging, does Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors not include over-current protection, and is Power Drills powered only from the VDD pin (VIN and LDO E-Bike have been removed).
