MPQ3369 6-Channel, Maximum 100mA/Ch Boost WLED Driver 2 with 15000:1 Dim Ratio and I C DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MPQ3369 is a step-up converter with six 3.5V to 36V Input Voltage Range channel current sources. It is designed to drive 6 Channels with Max 100mA per Channel white LED arrays as backlighting for small- or Internal 100m, 50V MOSFET medium-sized LCD panels. Configurable Switching Frequency Up to 2.2MHz The device uses peak current mode as its PWM External Sync SW Function control architecture to regulate the boost Multi-Dimming Operation Mode through converter. Six channel current sources are PWM Input, Including: applied into the LED cathode to adjust the LED o Direct PWM Dimming brightness. The MPQ3369 regulates the current o Analog Dimming in each LED string to the value set via an o Mix Dimming with 25% or 12.5% external current-setting resistor, with 2.5% Transfer Point current regulation accuracy between strings. 15000:1 Dimming Ratio in PWM Dimming A low on resistor MOSFET and a low headroom at f 200Hz PWM voltage are provided to improve efficiency. The MPQ3669 can also be Fault Indicator Signal Output configured to automatically decrease the LED Allow to Connect Multiple LEDx Pins for current at high temperatures.
