The EB208B is a miniature push-button switch manufactured by MPC Industries, Inc. This device is designed with a 12A rating, a life expectancy of up to 10,000 switching cycles, and a screw terminal form of connection. The EB208B is a reliable device, configured with a Solder Lug style of termination, and is UL, CSA, and VDE approved. It is especially suitable for use in control and instrumentation applications, and is available in momentary, latching (maintained) and alternate action configurations.
This switch includes a durable, heavy-duty black plastic housing, with a wide variety of contact styles and colors to choose from. The contact material is copper alloy, and the ‘off’ force is 0.4N minimum and 0.8N maximum. It operates in temperatures of between -25°C to +80°C, and is insulated at a rated 1000 volts. The EB208B measures 6.9mm by 12.7mm and is 5.8mm thick.
