The AMS1117-1.8V is a low-dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulator manufacturer by MSKSEMI. This device is in SOT-89 package and is compliant with the EU RoHS standards. It is capable of providing up to 800mA of continuous current with an output voltage of 1.8V. The device has a wide input voltage range from 3V to 15V and a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. It is designed to have a low quiescent current, 0.4uA and 0.2mV Line Regulation, and built-in short-circuit protection with 1.3V dropout voltage. The device is also thermal shut-down protected. This device is best suitable for noise sensitive and battery powered applications.
