The BLM18BB471SN1D is a high-speed signal line tape manufactured by Murata. It is an electronic part containing EMI Filter Beads, Chips & Arrays 0603 470ohms that offers protection against conducted and radiated EMI. It utilizes a variety of technologies to shield and suppress EMI/RFI including ceramic beads, chips, arrays and etched strips. The ceramic beads absorb high frequency energy and dissipate it as heat, while the chips have a low inductance and employ a high isothermal resistance. The arrays and the etched strips can be configured to provide the desired frequency response, while also allowing for stress relief of the lines. Furthermore, it is designed to fit between two PCBs to provide a reliable electrical connection. The combination of these technologies has proven to be effective in blocking out unwanted interference.
