The PRF18BC471QS5RB PTC Thermistor manufactured by Murata is a 0603 (1608 metric) surface-mount device consisting of a Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) resistor inside a ceramic body with two solderable terminals. This thermistor offers a resistance value of 470 ohms at 25°C (77°F) and a trip temperature of 90°C (194°F). It is designed for overheat protection applications and provides constant current over a wide range of ambient temperatures and input voltages. This small and light thermistor also features a low profile and excellent reliability. It can be used in low-voltage automotive and industrial applications, as well as in various electronic circuit protection assemblies.
