Murr Elektronik 85152 is a 4-port PROFINET IO Terminal, designed to provide connection and communication between two networks comprising of separated automation systems. It has a four port Ethernet switch, two PROFINET ports, and two ports for connecting other devices like contactors, actuators, sensors, and other individually addressable field devices. Additional PROFINET functions are also supported to make management of the network easier and more efficient. This terminal is capable of providing data bus diagnostics, maintenance and troubleshooting functions, as well as port-based authentication and encryption.
