The 74HC21PW.112 is a high-speed CMOS logic gate and dual 4-input AND gate belonging to Nexperia's 74HCxx series of logic gates. It is designed for low-power, high-speed operations that are convenient and fast without compromising on performance. This part is designed to be used in systems where low noise and low power consumption are important factors. This device is made out of advanced CMOS technology on high voltage process and is fabricated using a 0.7 µm process to provide a low power operation. The 74HC21PW.112 has two 4-input AND gates designed with Schmitt-triggers on each input to satisfy the slow input rise and fall times of today’s digital systems. It has a propagation delay time of 3.3 ns at Vcc = 5 V, 4.5 ns at Vcc = 3 V, and 5 ns at Vcc = 2.5 V and an output drive current of 5 mA at Vcc = 5 V, 3.5 mA at Vcc = 3 V, and 2 mA at Vcc = 2.5 V. The power-down protection prevents the output from excessive current drawn during power-off and power-on conditions. This device is available in 20-pin SSOP packages. It is RoHS compliant and operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
