DSC-809 is a part of Ninigi, an embedded software platform used to build device control systems. It is a distributed remote control computer system developed by the Nissan Motor Company. It is designed to operate as a multipurpose control system with a variety of distributed functions that can be interconnected with a number of hardware components. DSC-809 is an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) designed to provide the fundamental functions of Ninigi such as logic operations and networking. It also includes Serial Communication Interfaces (SCI) and Parallel Communication Interfaces (PCI). DSC-809 is used for remote operation, data acquisition, and system control of connected devices. It also provides a programming interface for creating custom applications.
