The NRF51822-QFAB-T is part of the Nordic Semiconductor's nRF51822 System-on-Chip (SoC) family. It is an ultra-low power multi-protocol radio system-on-chip (SoC) that is designed to help reduce overall system cost and simplify design. It supports Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), ANT and 2.4GHz proprietary protocols and combines the 2.4GHz transceiver with a highly integrated SoC based around an ARM Cortex-M0 CPU. The embedded 2.4GHz transceiver is capable of operation over a wide temperature range, a powerful 96MHz Arm Cortex-M0CPU with 256KB of flash memory and 32KB of SRAM, highly developed radio link layer, software and a feature-rich application framework. It is ideal for developing applications such as remote controls, fitness and healthcare products, sports and gaming accessories, smart home and industrial automation devices, beacons and embedded systems.
