NXP BT138-600E,127 is a general-purpose, three-terminal thyristor (also known as an SCR) that is designed for general-purpose switching applications in the electric power control and metering, lighting, power supply and relay industries. The BT138-600E,127 has a trigger voltage of 1.2V and a trigger current of up to 150mA, allowing for high reliability, low current drive and fast switching. With a maximum gate current of 4mA and peak off-state voltage of 600V, the BT138-600E,127 is ideal for medium-voltage applications. The part is insulated with a ceramic body and its built-in snubber circuit provides protection against over current and ESD.
