Additional Infomation About Product

The PCF8566T is an I2C-bus and SMBus Display Interface Controller from NXP Semiconductors. It is designed for low power, robust and low cost LCD displays. The PCF8566T supports monochrome LCD modules with up to 4 lines x 20 characters or graphics up to 128 x 64 dots. This device supports a wide range of LCD and dot matrix LCD types, with graphical displays having up to 8 levels of grayscale and up to 68 characters per line in text displays. It is a simple and low-cost single-chip display controller for LCD displays, and it offers a rich set of features, including: LCD display timing optimization; voltage level translation; On-board generation of various video formats (such as VGA, SVGA, XGA, etc.); and adjustable control of LCD display parameters (contrast, brightness, etc.). Additionally, the PCF8566T features serial communications, configuration options and power management.
