The PCF8576DU/2DA/2,026 is a I2C-bus controlled 8-bit I/O expander with an interrupt output pin and power-on reset circuit from NXP. This device has 2 banks, each of 8 general purpose input/output (GPIO) pins, that can be set to control interrupt output signals when specified conditions are reached. The device also has 2-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) and 3-bit digital-to-analog converters (DACs), making it suitable for a variety of applications. The PCF8576DU/2DA/2,026 is ideal for controlling I/O-intensive applications such as interfacing with LEDs and LCDs, motor and relay control, and other simple I/O functions.
