The PN5180A0HN/C3E is a high-performance multi-protocol NFC Forum-compliant frontend manufactured by NXP. It is designed to support up to 20 MHz of operation and up to 1.8 V supply, with a supply current of 120 mA, and 3.3 V DC supply. The device is capable of supporting most of the NFC Forum Standard Protocols, such as ISO 14443A/B, ISO 15693, FeliCa, and NFCIP-1 (Both P2P and Card emulation). It also features a receive latency optimization through a patented Autocoll FSM. The device is further protected by an on-chip ECC accelerator as well as error message suppression and watchdog timer features. It is also equipped with a built-in host interface that supports 8-bit micros.
