The OBO BETTERMANN FDB-2 24-N with Surge Arrestor is a two-pole, low-voltage surge and overvoltage protection device with a voltage rating of 22VAC. It is enclosed in a robust nylon, corrosion-resistant enclosure that is resistant to harsh environmental conditions, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The device features Type 2+3 protection, meaning it protects both AC and DC voltage circuits by providing effective protection against lighting and transient voltage. This protector is designed to protect electrical circuits and equipment from voltage damage, ranging from high-voltage transients to low-voltage short-circuits. The FDB-2 24-N is also equipped with a thermoplastic-coated aluminum oxide surge arrester that has a temperature range of -20°C to 70°C. The compact design ensures a flexible installation that is compatible with 1/2" NPT threaded connections.
